I had a good four days after the midterms ended (despite school, projects and assignments being such killjoys, but i will deal with them happily still)

on thurs, i met up with al n dawn for dinner and chat! it was totally long overdue. it had always been funnn hanging out with them both (separately, or with diff ppl though) and talking about funny stuff. and hanging out with both together, can get pretty hilarious! and guess what's the line we all said that night? "omggggg we're damn old now!!" ;( age is indeed catching up. it is disgusting. well anyway hope that during the hols i'll have more time to catch up with these gfs and others as well. i havent caught up with many of them for the longest time... and i do want to cos i do treasure these friendships! <3

friday was alright, sch was a bore as usual. i hate travelling to n fro. but the perk of the day was seeing the little prince at my place! :)) prince ethan wong is here to stay for a week, so i have been babysitting since yesterday. feeding milk, water, tutu, carry, play and jump around and make stupid faces just to see him smile :) he is the sweetest thing but also the naughtiest thing!! o gosh he woke me up at like 5am on Sat and 7am today! i'm positive i will not oversleep for class this whole week already. but anyway, its really heart warming seeing him smile, and i love to see him fall aslp and hear his silly voice gagaing away. but yupp kids are really tough to handle man! so kudos to all mummies! =)

so now the little darling is asleep, i am no longer full time yiyi and is now full time student.

Yawnzzz

i'm so sleepy and really sleep now but i just need to rant a bit.

midterms are over & done with, but guess what! 3 reports and 2 presentations running concurrently till the next month. and deadlines fall one week after another. 'very kind' to us huh? more like a slow torture to death. and then it's finals right after, once more one week after another. so stupid.

whats the point in trying to cramp everything for the module within a week just for a dumbdumb test and then next week forget what u learnt previously and starting cramping new stuff inside??!!!! i really dont understand.

this education system is obviously flawed.
if anything that we'd learnt, it'd be to forget things very quickly so that your brain can fill with new stuff. hurr.

i do like to be challenged, but when it gets overwhelming, the motivation disappears.
the law of diminishing returns holds here.

sulks. o well its bedtime. i simply love love sleep. goodnight all.

i havent felt this angry for a while already

and while brushing my teeth i was reflecting, and i realised why. i'd been too self righteous, too egoistic, too selfish and not forgiving nor loving enough.

i must remember to be BENT ON LOVING. with zero expectations.

this is so difficult. but i shall try.

Eighth day of the week

one after another.
assignments, presentations, reports, tutorials, readings, evaluations, easter ball planning.
one after another.

I need time to myself. I need to wash off that stale and disfigured nailpolish on my fingers.
I need time with my friends. I want to eat icecream and watch slumdog millionaire.
I need time with my Father. I need to read 4 books in the bible by this Easter.

I dont like to feel rushed. I dont enjoy doing things on a tight deadline. I dont like doing things as planned.

Because I like to dream, and I really need this, I shall imagine that there are 8 days in a week.

Now what will be this 8th day be called?
