Bad news

Every news channel, every newspaper, has nothing but bad news to offer.
Swine flu being at the top of the list, followed by unemployment and how global economy will continue to suffer especially with the onset of the pandemic.

I pray that Earth will not die out so soon. :(

As terrible as the thought can be, i'm seriously half hoping for it to turn to Red-alert and thus all schools will have to close.
Orange alert now, they're supposed to be considering the closure of schools. MOH, please take that into serious consideration. Students are too stressed and have low immunity and highly succeptible to these contagious diseases. Keep us safe at home please.

Cheh. But imagine if that were to happen, it would really be a serious cause for alarm. I'd be super paranoid with every little sneeze that often sounds so innocent.

I'm hoping that plans for summer does not take a 180d turn. But well, I've already crafted a contingency plan for my summer too.
i.e. catch mice on fb every 15min, scrub my pet and redecorate my pet's house, watch all seasons of antm, greys anatomy, ugly betty, and if really too much time rewatch gossipgirl.
crap, i think the above would only take up max 1week assuming we're all quarantined.

pray hard dear friends. God will listen.
take care and drink more water and sleep well too. lets boost up our immunities! :)

yay finally DONE with the crazy audit presentation. i still cannot believe its just 20%, feel so cheated ;(
but anyway, please meet my very competent partner (adin) and his 4 gorgeous ladies on his team, representing TNT Trusted Not Tainted. you can tell i'm still in the role. hahaha insane i know.

our very own special water, not tainted definitely. and i'm sure many have heard of the legend that whoever drinks this will remain young and beautiful. (just look at my team lol)

Amazingly, TNT decided to diversify and get into the business of running a concert, featuring ex-superstar Kelvin Tan aka Chen Wei Lian. A risky business indeed, but that said, no risks no returns! So we look forward to the returns after taking solid steps to mitigate our risks and managing a good internal control system :)

Note: we maintain our independence and have performed conflict checks using our GlobeCCTNT.

Okay, yes yes i know i'm kinda weird and mad... hahaha ok back to coso textbook. eeew i dont even know if anything is going in....

goodness, i cant imagine how next week will be... i shudder at the thought of just having 2days to study audit, and 3 days to churn out a font size 4 cheatsheet :((

tests tests tests

1 down 4 to conquer!
all my saturdays are now burnt.
3 more weeks to drown in my notes.. which i assume would not be very useful actually.
i felt that studying was quite pointless after cg yesterday.
but well, it's just part of an undergrad's life i guess.

easter ball was ok last night. not easy having to organize it and make sure everything goes well. especially when we were so shorthanded :( thank god for the adults who helped. really appreciated their assistance. they were so kind n sweet :)
as for me, i learnt a no. of lessons. and was enlightened. and amazed at how selfless some can be, and on the other hand, selfish for others.
had a few good conversations with a couple of friends too so the night was pretty well spent despite the backaches n smell of nuggets and mushrooms n the sweat. woot.

i dont have the mood nor momentum to study, study. especially when there are still presentations and homework due in the week. i prefer to focus.

but well i smile when i think of the holidays to come. :)
cannot wait for the love & fun which will accompany.
yay.

it was quite a week, but seeing the good out of every thing makes life alot easier.
God made everything perfect, but often we choose to pick up imperfections.

it is not easy to be patient and loving. but i will try :)

when you think life's a bitch,

change your mindset and be positive still!
so here's something which inspired me a bit so i shall share with whoever that reads this space. :)

1. Wake Up!!
Decide to have a good day.
"Today is the day the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalms 118:242.

2. Dress Up!!
The best way to dress up is to put on a smile. A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
"The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at outward appearance; but theLord looks at the heart." I Samuel 16:73.

3. Shut Up!!
Say nice things and learn to listen. God gave us two ears and one mouth, so He must have meant for us to do twice asmuch listening as talking.
"He who guards his lips guards his soul." Proverbs 13:34.

4. Stand Up!!
...For what you believe in. Stand for something or you will fall for anything..
"Let us not be weary in doing good; for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good..." Galatians 6:9-105.

5. Look Up!!
...To the Lord.
"I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me." Phillippians 4:136.

6. Reach Up!!
...For something higher.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, And He will direct your path." Proverbs 3:5-67.

7. Lift Up!!
...Your Prayers.
"Do not worry about anything; instead PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING." Philippians 4:6
