it's Christmas, again
2010's 25 December.
Doesn't quite feel like Christmas, I dont know why...
Maybe it's the lack of squeezing in crowds.
Maybe it's cos I din't go and enjoy the lightings in Orchard at night.
But it's a lovely Christmas. I think I finally understand the meaning of it all. It's not all about the gifts or the lights or dressing up for parties.
It's a time to remember the love of God for us. And so I had a peaceful Christmas eve, crossing into Christmas day itself. Both days well spent with the most important people in my life.
I had fun in the simplest ways :) and love was indefinitely there.
Anyways, it is good to be back. Back to sunny humid Singapore. I do miss a little of the snow, or rather the feeling that snow gives. No, not the coldness of it all, but the white streets and dotted trees along the roads. Like something out of a postcard or movie, it's just so pretty! :) And sipping hot chocolate on a cold winter night just felt so right.
It was a lovely December, I had an awesome holiday with interesting memories. Many firsts, and there were both ups and downs, but on the whole it was something really memorable. I would really love to spend winter there again, and I'd surely wanna bring you along C:
It's gonna be a busy week. Celebrations throughout the week, all through till the new year arrives.
So thankful for everything, and everyone :)
